After Michigan defeated Michigan State on Friday night, the Spartans defeated the Wolverines in Saturday’s D-Region Duel to bring the Iron D trophy back to East Lansing.
After the game, Michigan head coach Brandon Norato addressed the media and discussed his team’s loss to Michigan State inside Little Caesars Arena.

“I didn’t think the score was like that. They were faster and ahead of us with the puck.”

Michigan will face Penn State next weekend in another big Big Ten series, while MSU will have a week off before hosting Notre Dame.
