Wealdstone unhappy as Hassan plays in Baller League

National League side Wealdstone say one of their players turned up in a Players League game without the club’s permission.

Midfielder Sak Hassan scored for YouTuber KSI’s Prime FC team in a 7-3 win over N5 FC on Monday night.

The 24-year-old Somali international joined the Rolling Stones from Hashtag United last summer and has made 25 appearances for the Stones this season.

The Dutch-born player has spent time in the academies of Leyton Orient, Queens Park Rangers and Tottenham Hotspur, and also played in the Players League for John Terry’s 26ers last year.

A statement released by the club on

“We did not contact the club to obtain permission for Sack to play, nor were we informed of his involvement in advance.

“We will now follow up directly with the players’ union and players.”

The Baller League is entering its second season in the UK – the televised six-a-side tournament will feature former and current professional players, celebrities and influencers in 30-minute matches.

Notable team managers for this year’s event include Alan Shearer, Ian Wright, Chloe Kelly, Angry Ginge and Micah Richards.
