Shakur Stevenson After tonight’s dominant win, his next game could be scheduled Teofimo Lopez.

Stevenson told DAZN’s Chris Mannix Connor Benn The man, who was seen in the building throughout the night and was a potential target, said Ben “motivated” him tonight.
“Hey, Connor Benn, we can do this, kid! I want the same hydration clause you put on Jr. Eubank, and I want a fight,” Stevenson yelled.
Benn then entered the ring and told Stevenson he was “too small.” Benn’s last two fights were at middleweight against Chris Eubank Jr., and while the Shakur fight will likely take place at 147 pounds, it should be said that Benn hasn’t actually been at that weight in four years.
“I have so many skills,” Stevenson said. “Sign the contract! Sign the contract! Let’s make it happen!”

Ben responded: “You can’t box. You can’t keep me away from you. I’m going to treat you rough.” He yelled at Turki Arasheh to fight, and the two screamed at each other to show they were not afraid of each other.
“He was food,” Stevenson told Eddie Hearn, who represents the pair. “You’re a little man,” Ben said repeatedly.
“This is your night,” Ben said with a smile, “but then I’m going to kick your ass!”
What Shakur Stevenson had to say after defeating Teofimo Lopez
“I tore him apart. I did what I was supposed to do.”
“That’s the art of boxing. Hit, don’t get hit, separate your opponent. I can beat any of these guys. All I have to do is concentrate. I told you I’m the best boxer on the planet and I stand by that.”

“I watched him (on tape) and I knew my jab was going to kill him. I told everyone before the fight, ‘They’re going to see me after this fight with the best jab I’ve ever had in boxing.’ I saw his weakness and took advantage of it.”
“I feel like I’m the stronger fighter. I’m faster, I’m smarter, I’m sharper. I thank Theo for giving me this opportunity. He’s one of the best fighters I’ve ever played with, but I did what I was supposed to do.”
“I had to follow in the footsteps of Bud Crawford. He came in and dominated Canelo and he made weight. He motivated me. I knew I had to do it. I put everything on my back and I did it.”
