Zuffa Boxing 1 came to a close last night (Friday, January 23, 2026) at Paramount+ at Meta Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada, with a host of up-and-coming prospects shining and impressing under the new boxing banner (full results here ).

In the main event of the evening, one of Dana White’s The most valuable warrior, Callum Walshmaking his first appearance for the company in a middleweight bout Carlos Ocampo. It didn’t take long for him to show why Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) owners grabbed him and signed him to a long-term contract.
From the start, Walsh kept his opponent at bay with a flurry of punches. Next came a 10-round clinic from “King,” whose technique was crisp and smooth throughout the night. He did suffer his second career knockdown, however, when Ocampo punched him in the back of the shoulder in the sixth round, causing him to slip forward and cause his gloves to come into contact with the canvas.

Walsh, visibly frustrated by the knockout decision, came right back and continued to control the tempo of the fight. As much as he would have liked to get the late win, it wasn’t to be this time, although he did get a clear unanimous decision after dominating the entire fight.

With the win, Walsh improved to 17-0 in his middleweight debut and proved he could headline, while Ocampo dropped to 38-4, with his other three losses coming on this hand. Tim Tsyo, Sebastian Fundora and Errol Spence Jr.. It might not be the most exciting fight, but Walsh is making good progress in his long-term partnership with Zuffa Boxing.
