De Pere basketball player Will Krueger was last week’s winner with 21,198 votes.

He is the third De Pere athlete to win Player of the Week honors for the 2025-26 school year, joining football player Cayden Cavanaugh in Week 10 and lacrosse player Elliana Memken in Week 21.
Bay Area Ice Bears hockey star Faye Brunk was the runner-up. The Pulaski senior received 17,737 votes, while Ice Bears teammate and Bay Harbor sophomore Aisling Buchan was third with 2,283 votes.

Jake Bookett, De Pere Basketball
The senior guard had several standout conference performances, helping the Redbirds reach the WIAA Division I state tournament.

Bookett scored 22 points in a 79-64 semifinal victory over Germantown and scored a game-high 24 points in a 97-74 championship game victory over Brookfield East.
Teach Cornell, Seymour Basketball
The sophomore guard helped lead the Thunder to the D3 state tournament.
He scored 8 points, 2 rebounds, and 2 assists on 2-for-4 shooting in a 56-49 victory over Liberty in the conference semifinals.
Cornell followed suit, scoring a game-high 21 points and hitting five 3-pointers in the conference championship game against Appleton Xavier.
Ryan Westridge, Bondur Basketball
The senior played a key role in the Bears’ run to the D4 state tournament.
In the semifinals, he scored 27 points and 12 rebounds on 12-for-17 shooting, helping the Storm defeat Kewaunee 73-62, the Storm’s only loss of the season.

Westridge made 6 of 11 shots and scored 14 points, 10 rebounds and 3 blocks to help the team beat Marathon 78-68.
Kaia Waldrop, Green Bay Notre Dame basketball
The senior forward capped off her prep career with a double-double in the D1 state tournament, finishing with 16 points and 13 rebounds in a semifinal loss to No. 1 Wauwatosa East.
