VOTE Alliance Orthopedics softball MVP of Shore Conference Tournament

Another Shore Conference tournament is in the books.

The St. John Vianney softball team regained the Coastal crown with a decisive 5-1 victory over Donovan Catholic in the finals at Count Basie Park on Thursday, winning the rubber tie between the two rivals who have met in the finals in three of the past four seasons. The Lancers won in a classic overtime game in 2024, but outlasted their opponent in 2026 with a more dominant performance.

Clearly, SJV has a plethora of elite performers that pave the way for the title. But there were other outstanding performances from players who stepped up and contributed to their teams in the life-or-death moments of the game.
