University of Louisville 10 Mile race closes 2026 Triple Crown of Running

The final leg of the Triple Crown of Running, sponsored by The Courier Journal, is April 4. This popular running series, now in its 41st year, takes place at the University of Louisville 10 Mile, with the finish line located on the 50-yard line of L&N Federal Credit Union Stadium.

The race attracts thousands of runners and walkers and includes a new distance on race day – the 8K race. The day also includes the Louie Dash, a fun run for kids.

The 2026 Triple Crown of Running is considered the region’s signature running series and includes the Whiskey Row 5K, Derby City 10K and the University of Louisville 10-Mile. Registration for the 2027 series will open soon at louisvilletriplecrown.com.
