UFC announces March return to London

The UFC has traveled to London in late winter or early spring nine times in the past 12 years, and 2026 will be no different.

The promotion announced on Friday that it will return to the English capital and the O2 Arena on March 21. The event is expected to be a fight night and will be part of the UFC’s upcoming new broadcast deal with Paramount+, where the show will be broadcast live.

Matchups for this card have not yet been announced. The UFC is currently holding British heavyweight champion Tom Aspinall pending a rematch due to an eye injury sustained in his fight with Ciryl Gane, but he is not yet medically cleared to compete and has said he is considering eye surgery following the incident at UFC 321 in late October.

In 2014, the UFC headed to The O2 for a fight night event in March. From 2016 to 2019, fight nights were held at the arena around the same time. One of them, also scheduled for 2020, was the first casualty of COVID-19 cancellations.

The UFC returns to The O2 in March 2022, then again in June and visits there twice in 2023. After a year-long absence, former welterweight champion Leon Edwards and Sean Brady headlined a show in early March of this year.
