Both teams achieved overwhelming victories. UConn opened Big East play with a season-high 104-39 victory over Xavier on Sunday. Six different UConn players scored in double digits in the win, and the Huskies hit a season-high 50% (18-for-36) from beyond the arc. Five of those 3-pointers came from sophomore reserve Allie Ziebel, highlighting UConn’s depth at the guard position.
