President Donald Trump launched a fiery 300-word tirade against Republican dissidents who forced the release of Jeffrey Epstein documents.
The 79-year-old president lashed out at Kentucky Rep. Thomas Massie in a recycled post on The Truth Society on Monday, calling him a “completely ineffective loser” and endorsing his Republican challenger.

Trump roared: “I ask all MAGA warriors to unite behind Captain Ed Garlain, the candidate best positioned to defeat third-rate Congressman Thomas Massey, a weak and pathetic green man from the beautiful state of Kentucky, a place I love and have won three big times, no matter where he is.”
The president further claimed that people in the northwest Kentucky district are “desperate to get rid of” the congressman, complaining that “he only votes against Republicans and makes life easy for the radical left.”
Trump’s recycled post also came after Massey spoke out against FBI Director Kash Patel’s recommendation that it be illegal to carry guns to protests following the killing of Alex Pretti by federal agents in Minneapolis. /Donald Trump/Truth Society

When reached for comment, Massie told The Daily Beast in a statement: “This is apparently the third attempt by the Ed Garlain campaign; in fact, this exact endorsement was issued weeks ago. Failed candidate and Lindsey Graham donor Ed Garlain couldn’t even win his home state in his last race and is poised to fail again.”

Massey, 55, angered Trump last year by breaking ranks and co-sponsoring the Epstein Dossier Transparency Act with Democratic Rep. Ro Khanna. Trump tried to block the legislation for months until he changed his position after realizing Republicans would support the bill. He signed the bill into law after Congress passed it in November.
But Massey continues to draw Trump’s ire by accusing the Trump administration of cold-blooded release of all Epstein documents.
Massey’s bill would require all documents related to the well-connected sex trafficker and one-time friend of Trump to be released by December 19, 2025, but as of mid-January, the Justice Department had yet to release more than 2 million documents.
Before Trump’s post was recycled, Massey also spoke out against FBI Director Kash Patel’s suggestion that it would be illegal to carry guns to protests after federal agents killed ICU nurse Alex Pretty in Minneapolis on Saturday.
Massie said Patel “disparaged your right to keep and bear arms” and appeared to take a dig at Gallain.
“My opponent is hiding this… he is afraid to support 2A,” Massie wrote on X .

Trump wrote, “Unlike ‘lightweight’ Congressman Massi, a true hater of Israel and a completely incompetent loser who has let us down so much, Capt. Ed Garlain is a winner who will not let Kentucky down!”
The Daily Beast has reached out to Massey’s office for comment.
