Donald Trump spent two hours on The Truth Society attacking his enemies and retweeting praise after world leaders ignored his “peace council” ceremony in Davos.
The 79-year-old president was sharing a post almost every minute on Thursday, hours after he launched a “peace commission” initiative at the World Economic Forum that attracted Trump-allied leaders from the Middle East and South America.

Trump posted 51 times between 10:38 a.m. and 1:01 p.m. ET, several of which were screenshots of videos people agreed with that he posted seconds earlier.
Topics covered in the posts include a video of White House deputy chief of staff Stephen Miller lambasting Trump’s enemies, a court victory allowing ICE to use force against protesters in Minnesota, 2020 election fraud conspiracies, threats to sue The New York Times for publishing polls that displeased Trump, and a rant against special counsel Jack Smith.

The president’s posting outburst came after he wrapped up a humiliating and widely criticized trip to the World Economic Forum.
After Trump gave a speech on Wednesday suggesting that the United States could take control of Greenland, he met with NATO Secretary-General Mark Rutte, who apparently dissuaded him. Trump left the meeting claiming he had secured a “framework” for the U.S. on Greenland, but gave no specific details.
On Thursday, Trump was humiliated again at a “Peace Commission” signing party.
The White House has touted the Peace Council initiative, which countries can join for a $1 billion fee as a coalition of countries to “promote stability, restore credible and legitimate governance, and ensure lasting peace in areas affected or threatened by conflict.”

Although the White House expected representatives from 35 countries to attend the ceremony, fewer than 20 people actually showed up. Other world leaders in attendance at Davos, such as French President Emmanuel Macron, German Chancellor Friedrich Merz, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney, ignored Trump’s efforts.
Trump ultimately signed the U.N. charter that critics called “Make America Great Again” with Argentinian President Javier Milley and far-right Hungarian leader Viktor Orban, among others.

Trump called every world leader who signed on to the peace commission “a good friend of mine.”
Shortly after Trump’s posting spree ended, his account took on a different, more upbeat tone.
“Back in Washington and had an incredible time in Davos,” Trump posted at 1:45 p.m. “The structures in Greenland are being developed that will be amazing for the United States, and the Peace Commission is something the world has never seen before – very special. A lot of good things are happening! President Donald J. Trump.”
