president Donald Trump lashed out at two Fox News hosts on Monday night and asked one of them to go off the air.
The president asked a question fox news sunday host Shannon Bream and five people co-host Jessica Tarlov. Trump criticized Bream’s interview with the congressman in a post on The Truth Society. Jack Auchincloss (D-MA) wrote on Sunday:
Tell Fox News’ Shannon Bream that this isn’t the Rescue Act, it’s the Save America Act, and that’s a big difference! Furthermore, when she insists on having lightweight Democratic congressmen like Jake Auchincloss on her show, she should correct them when they publish Democratic propaganda and lies. She never does this! Unlike the Democrats, I always make deals and do a great job with China on all fronts, also unlike the Democrats! Just for Fox execs, take Jessica Tarlov off the air. From her voice, to her lies, and everything else about her, she is one of the worst “characters” on television, a true loser! People couldn’t bear to look at her. Thank you for your attention to this matter! President DJT
The president is urging the Senate to pass the SAVE Act, or Safeguard American Voter Eligibility Act, also known as the SAVE America Act, even if it means eliminating the filibuster. During Bream’s interview with Auchincloss, the congressman accused Trump of not having a strategy to end the ongoing war with Iran.
Last month, Trump gave a phone interview five peoplebut Tarlov was absent.
“I watch Jessica, but I’m not a fan,” Trump said on the March 26 show. “She used fake numbers. She’d say, ‘Well, he’s just voting [at] 42%. “That’s not right. In fact, the polls are very high. You know, polls are like – I hate people who use fake polls because polls are like bad reporters. You know, bad reporters, they write fake stories. Well, fake polls do damage, too. But that’s it. I’m sure I’m going to like her. I’m sure she’s a lovely person.”
Monday was not the first time the president targeted Bream and Tarlov. In 2024, then-candidate and criminal defendant Trump accused Bream of conducting an “anti-MAGA” interview with his attorney. Last year, the president called Tarlov (again) a “real loser.”
