The Jacksonville Jaguars locked down an integral piece of their young defense.
Defensive end Travon Walker has agreed to a four-year contract extension worth $110 million, his rep announced on X . According to Elite Loyalty Sports, the deal includes $77 million in total guarantees and $50 million in fully guaranteed signing bonuses.

Walker’s current contract ranks 12th among the Chargers in average annual value.
Walker is coming off a 3.5-sack season in 2025, but he had double-digit sack totals in his first two years.
The No. 1 overall pick in the 2022 NFL Draft out of Georgia has long drawn comparisons to No. 2 edge rusher Aidan Hutchinson of the Detroit Lions. Hutchinson, a two-time Pro Bowl selection, is the most efficient pass rusher of the two and signed a four-year, $180 million contract extension last October. However, Walker has become a key disruptor for the Jaguars’ opportunistic defense, which ranked second in the league with 31 takeaways last season.
“What I really appreciate in watching Travon transfer is how much he loves this place and how much he loves his teammates,” Jaguars general manager James Gladstone said in January. “That just comes from his soul. Those are the guys you want to be aligned with. We want to make sure they’re still in our building moving forward.”
Walker was scheduled to play in 2026 with a $15.2 million fifth-year option.
