PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) — Jrue Holiday and Scott Henderson scored 25 points apiece, Donovan Klingen had 21 points and 15 rebounds, and the Portland Trail Blazers beat the Utah Jazz 124-114 on Friday night.
With the Golden State Warriors losing to Minnesota, the Trail Blazers trailed the Warriors for ninth place in the Western Conference at half-game.

Brice Sensabaugh scored 31 points to lead Utah.
After the Jazz took a 33-15 lead, the Trail Blazers found their footing and went on a 27-5 run to take control of the game.
Back-to-back 3-pointers from Portland’s Sidi Sissoko pushed the score to 38-34 in the second quarter, part of a 14-0 run to open the quarter. Holiday hit a three-pointer and Portland took the lead, leading 66-58 at halftime.
The Jazz made multiple offensive plays in the second half to take the lead. Oscar Tshiebwe’s layup made it 91-89 with 2:01 left in the third quarter, but that was as close as the Jazz could get.
With 5 minutes and 49 seconds left in the game, Sensabaugh hit his sixth three-pointer to bring the score to 106-101. With 3 minutes and 28 seconds left in the game, Holiday and Henderson hit consecutive three-pointers, and Portland chased the score to 114-103.

Utah’s Ace Bailey was ruled out after seven minutes with concussion symptoms. He scored eight points.
NBA Commissioner Adam Silver was in attendance for Friday night’s game. The sale of the Trail Blazers is expected to be finalized at an upcoming NBA Board of Governors meeting. Silver did not speak to reporters.
