Tommy Fleetwood confirmed on Thursday that he became an apparel free agent after his contract with Nike expired.
“It turns out we didn’t get into a situation of wearing Nike products this year,” said the world No. 3 and defending FedEx Cup champion. “Who knows what will happen in the future.”
England’s Tommy Fleetwood watches on the green before the 2026 AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am at Pebble Beach Golf Links in California on February 11, 2026.
He enjoys the freedom of wearing gear from various golf courses. This week, he visited the Pebble Beach pro shop, decked out head to toe in the famed course’s signature logo.

“It’s cool,” he said. “I feel like I’m a huge golf fan. I really love golf stuff, so it’s nice to wear something like Pebble Beach. I mean, my kids would absolutely love those things, so I feel very lucky to be able to wear it.”
Fleetwood said he likes to wear hats from various golf courses, but he hasn’t worn many in recent years because of the demands of his apparel deal. Fleetwood played the Polo Masters in Dubai last month and was seen wearing Lululemon and Vuori earlier this year, but has yet to sign any deal. Fleetwood should be in high demand given his popularity with fans, world rankings and overall TV exposure. But then he won’t be able to participate in sign bingo.
“I mean, there are some amazing icons around the world, and I also think they’re like memorable pieces, right, when you come to a special place,” he said. “My collection has gotten bigger, that’s for sure.”
