Titans interview finalists Matt Nagy and Robert Saleh for their head-coaching job

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — The Tennessee Titans said Monday they held in-person interviews with finalists Matt Nagy and Robert Salley to fill their head coaching vacancy.

Earlier this month, Najib conducted virtual interviews with the team. Saleh was also supposed to speak virtually with the Titans, but after San Francisco was eliminated from the playoffs with a loss to Seattle on Saturday night, those in charge of the search decided to fly him to Nashville.

Tennessee has spoken with 15 candidates since the process began. Earlier Monday, Miami hired Jeff Hafley as coach, with Jeff Hafley off the board, and last week John Harbaugh canceled a meeting as he was set to take the New York Giants job.

Nagy coached Chicago from 2018-21 and has been Kansas City’s offensive coordinator since 2023. Saleh, who coached the New York Jets from 2021-24 and was fired midseason, serves as the 49ers’ defensive coordinator this season.
