Tiger Woods returns to Florida after rehab stint in Switzerland, per report

Tiger Woods is back in the United States.

Woods spent a month in a rehab facility in Switzerland following his arrest in March and returned to Florida on Wednesday afternoon, according to TMZ, which posted a photo of Woods leaving a private jet at Palm Beach International Airport. Woods, 50, was charged with driving under the influence after a rollover crash on March 27 near his home in Jupiter Island, Florida.

Woods chose to go abroad for treatment, telling the judge he feared he wouldn’t be able to get help privately in the United States. After more than a month in Europe, Woods is back.

Earlier this week, a Florida judge ordered that Woods’ prescription records be provided to prosecutors as part of a DUI-related case against the 15-time major champion. This information will not be made public.

Woods will miss this week’s PGA Championship at Arronimink and is not expected to play in next month’s U.S. Open.
