Jonathan David, Kenan Yildiz and Filip Kostic contributed goals for the Old Lady, who now sit just one point behind Partenopei in the Serie A standings.

Thuram was speaking at a press conference attended by Football Italia last night, during which he explained the Bianconeri’s goal celebrations: “We celebrated with coffee. When Kenan scored, he made a star and we imitated the little spark. I don’t know what we will do next, but it’s good.”

The Bianconeri have won 12 of 18 games under Spalletti. The Italian tactician was appointed to replace Igor Tudor at the end of October.

“Our goal is to win because we are at Juventus. As a team and as players we must always try to win and grow,” Thuram continued.

“We have made a lot of progress since the coach arrived but we can still improve more and we are working towards that.”
