DENVER (KDVR) — A snowstorm hit the mountains on Tuesday, bringing up to a foot of snow to some Colorado ski areas.
This season, ski resorts are struggling due to warm weather and low snowfall. By the end of December, several resorts had less than half their trails open, and some were even offering discounted prices to get people on the mountain.
