If they win in Week 15, they’ll move into the new year’s final 12 teams with their sights set on a Super Bowl appearance in the Bay Area.
Here are three teams that can win next week.
Bo Nix had a happy sophomore season with the Broncos as the University of Oregon’s starting quarterback. After a foray into the postseason last season, they can get back to the postseason (and maybe the division title) with a win over the Green Bay Packers on Sunday.
New England is tied with the Broncos atop the AFC, both with 11-2 records, and a win over AFC East rival Buffalo on Sunday would put New England into the playoffs. Derek Meyer is in his second season as a pro with the Knicks, and in addition to locking down a playoff spot, the New England playmaker is in the MVP race with a gunner in sunny Los Angeles.

Speaking of the Gunners in the MVP race, the last team that can advance to the playoffs with a win this weekend is the 10-3 Los Angeles Rams. They play at SoFi Stadium this weekend and will host Stafford’s former team, the Detroit Lions, who have come out better in each of the past two meetings between the two sides. As the current front-runner for the MVP trophy, a strong performance could not only keep him in the lead, but propel him higher in the campaign.
