There’s a Serial Road Rager in Hawaii

A man linked to a series of violent road rage incidents in Hawaii and California changed his plea to guilty in court Tuesday, moving one step closer to sentencing in a high-profile case in Honolulu.

Nathaniel Radimak, 39, entered a no contest plea to three charges related to a road rage attack in the Kakaako area on May 7, 2025. The charges include one felony count of unauthorized entry of a motor vehicle and two counts of third-degree assault. The victim of the incident was in court during the change of plea.

Radimak’s appearance was markedly different from his earlier appearance in court, when he had visible bandages and bruises from injuries sustained in custody. Since then, the court has ordered a psychiatric evaluation to determine whether he is competent to stand trial. A judge later ruled he was fit to proceed.

Before accepting the plea, the judge conducted standard questioning to ensure that Radimak understood the consequences of his decision, was mentally competent to enter the plea and had knowingly waived his right to a trial. During the process, Radimak acknowledged that he was undergoing ongoing mental health treatment, had been in care for about two years, and took multiple medications daily. He also confirmed that he has been diagnosed with a mental illness and is under medical supervision.

Radymark has drawn national attention in the past for a series of alleged road rage incidents in California, where he is widely known as the “Tesla Road Rage Driver.” Hawaii authorities previously accused him of targeting a young woman at a Planet Fitness in Kahala while on parole.

After his arrest in Honolulu, Radimak was reportedly attacked by other inmates and required hospitalization for his injuries.

Rudymark will be required to pay restitution to the victims as part of a no-contest plea. He could face up to five years in prison on the felony charge and up to a year in prison on the two assault counts.
