Of course, the Bills won’t be playing the Chiefs. Buffalo will travel to New England to face the Patriots in Week 15, while the Chiefs will host the Chargers.
But there’s a scenario that will officially eliminate the Chiefs on Sunday, and the Bills are a part of it.

Jaguars vs. Jets win or tie
If all four of those things happen, the Chiefs are screwed.
The Bills, Jaguars and Texans were all favored in the game, although Buffalo only won by a narrow margin. This shows that it is not impossible for this to happen on Sunday.

Buffalo has been one of the AFC’s best teams for five years but has been unable to surpass the Chiefs in the playoffs.

If the Chiefs don’t even make the playoffs, though, the Bills’ chances improve.
Kansas City is currently just 6-7. Even if they win in Week 15, their chances of making the playoffs are slim.
