President Donald Trump is not having a merry Christmas.

The 79-year-old president dined with his wife, first lady Melania Trump, and father-in-law, Victor Knafs, at Mar-a-Lago on Christmas Eve. He then made nearly 150 TRUTH social posts filled with complaints and angry rants instead of enjoying time with friends and family.

Trump biographer Michael Wolff joins The Daily Beast’s Joanna Coles inside trump’s mind podcast and lampooned the president’s unhappy vacation.

“I guess he just sat up in bed and went crazy,” Wolf joked.

For Coles, Wolf and many social media onlookers, Trump’s Christmas Eve seemed lonely and painful, with Melania chatting excitedly with her father and Trump staring blankly into space.

“What’s notable about the videos people are posting about the event is how active our first lady looks with her father, and we’re not used to seeing her looking active,” Coles said.

“To set the scene, they were on the patio at Mar-a-Lago. I think the temperature was about 75 degrees,” Wolf added. “It was packed with other members. In fact, we are in the peak season now. And why these people did not spend Christmas Eve with their families, we can only speculate.”

Wolff spoke of how isolated Trump seemed amid the surrounding celebrations.

“Donald Trump is exactly where he’s always been: sitting in the middle of the table with a red string around the table. Why he has this red string around the table is a little confusing because the table is right in the center of everything,” he said.

“Maybe it’s like the brim of Melania’s hat,” Coles said. “It gives him a boundary that you shouldn’t go near.”

“Everyone on the patio was coming toward him. It didn’t mean ‘stay away.’ In fact, the rope meant ‘come closer,'” Wolfe added.

While Wolff and Coles paint a grim picture of Trump’s sad Christmas Eve, their vision of Trump’s Christmas morning is even sadder.

“I think he’s watching TV, right?” Coles said thoughtfully. “When he woke up, his televisions were still on because he hadn’t turned them off the night before, unless someone snuck into his room and turned them off for him.”

“He’s in the White House, or he’s in Mar-a-Lago,” Wolf added. “I think they’re probably very, very similar. I think he arranged them to basically look the same, and he did the same thing.”

Wolf said Trump was annoyed by being isolated on Christmas Eve and lashed out on Truth Social all night long, likely begging people to talk to him about him on Christmas morning.

“What is the most important thing for Donald Trump? What is his lifeline?” Wolf asked. “Calls. He calls. He answers the phone, he calls. You know, he calls and says, ‘What happened? How was the fight?’ Of course, it’s an invitation for us to talk about him.”

When asked to comment on Trump’s Christmas events, the White House ignored the question and repeated the same comments about multiple incidents. inside trump’s mind Episodes.

White House communications director Steven Cheung’s comments read: “Michael Wolf is a lying bastard and a proven liar. He often spins stories based on his own sick and twisted imagination simply because he suffers from a severe and debilitating case of Trump Derangement Syndrome that has rotted away his peanut-sized brain.”
