Texas Longhorns tight end Jack Endries has decided to enter the 2026 NFL Draft. The former Cal transfer will be one of the most popular prospects at the TE position in the country. ESPN’s Mel Kiper ranks Endris as the No. 3 player in the draft.
Endris finished his career with 124 receptions, 1,376 yards and seven touchdowns. While at UT, he caught 33 passes for 346 yards and three touchdowns.

“I think I’m ready to take the next step,” Endries told ESPN on Friday. “I really enjoyed my four years in college, but I thought it was time to move on and chase my dream of making it to the NFL.”
Endris has started all 39 games over the past three seasons, proving durability and reliability to potential NFL teams. The California native said he’s grateful for the Texas coaching staff.
“The coaching is at the highest level,” Endris told ESPN. “We’re a team that’s persistent. Practice and coaching are what make the difference. I think I’ve gotten better at blocking and catching the ball. When you come here, you come here to improve. That’s what happened.
