After experiencing a 0-10 season in 2025, Sabine (Texas) The high school is reportedly looking for a new head football coach.
DCTF’s Matt Stepp reports Sabin head coach Thursday morning Cody Gilbert Resigned. He was hired by Sabine ISD in March 2022 and led the Cardinals for four seasons.

In those four seasons, Sabin compiled an 8-32 record. The Gladewater program hit rock bottom last fall, losing all 10 regular season games, including five with zero points.
