The Tennessee Titans entered the 2025 season with low expectations, and they performed just as poorly as many expected, finishing with a dismal 3-14 record. The team was completely uncompetitive against quality opponents, and second-year head coach Brian Callahan was pushed out midseason, raising questions as to why they didn’t fire him the previous offseason. It actually overshadowed Cam Ward’s rookie season, which saw the No. 1 overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft take a hit but briefly flashed his potential throughout the year.
Whoever the organization names as its new head coach will be tasked with putting Ward and company on an upward trajectory in 2026, and we at least know who they’ll be facing during the campaign.

Tennessee Titans schedule analysis
The Titans will have eight home games and nine road games next season, pending the announcement of the 2026 international matchups. The rotation will include games against the entire NFC East and AFC North, as well as their usual six conference games in the AFC South. Since they are fourth in the division, they will play the bottom teams in the NFC North (Vikings), AFC West (Raiders) and AFC East (Jets) to complete a 17-game schedule.
The Titans have a pretty reasonable schedule on paper, playing just six games against 2025 playoff contenders, four of which are in their own division against the Jaguars and Texans. Their toughest game will be at home against the Eagles, and with the bottom of the schedule, they have a chance to improve their win total against the Raiders, Giants, Commanders and Browns. Of course, these teams can always improve next year, but this is a beneficial next step for a second-year quarterback like Ward.
