Tennessee football coach visits 2027 Louisiana offensive lineman

Tennessee is recruiting its 2027 football signing class. Vols offensive line coach Glenn Ellaby paid a visit to four-star interior offensive lineman Albert Simien.

“Thank you to Coach Glenn Ellaby for visiting my school today and talking to my family,” Simien said. “We had a great time chatting with you.”

The 6-foot-4, 280-pound prospect comes out of Sam Houston High School in Moss Bluff, Louisiana. 247Sports ranks him as the No. 2 interior offensive lineman in the class and the No. 3 player in the state of Louisiana.

The Vols offered Simeon a scholarship on Oct. 4, 2024, but has yet to visit Tennessee.

LSU is the first school to offer scholarships to the Class of 2027 on October 3, 2024. Other schools offering him scholarships include Houston, Mississippi State, Texas A&M, Lamar, Nebraska, Sacramento State, Oklahoma, Alabama, Notre Dame, Florida State, TCU, Auburn, UTEP, Arkansas, Liberty, West Virginia, Michigan, North Carolina, SMU, Baylor, Florida and Oregon.

Tennessee has four players in its 2027 football recruiting class: linebacker JP Peace, cornerback Kamauri Whitfield, offensive tackle Princeton Uwaifo and defensive lineman Kadin Fife.
