British stone. PAUL, Minn. (AP) — Vladimir Tarasenko scored at 3:06 of overtime and the Minnesota Wild beat the Dallas Stars 2-1 on Saturday in what could be a preview of the first round of the playoffs.
Bobby Brink also scored and Filip Gustafsson made 28 saves for the Wild, who improved to 9-2-0 in their last 11 starts.

It was Minnesota’s second win in six games, including a three-game losing streak at home. The Wild are third in the Central Division, five points behind Dallas and 14 points ahead of Utah State.
Jason Robertson scored and Jake Oettinger stopped 26 shots for Dallas. The Stars were just three points away from Colorado, which clinched a playoff spot on Friday. After a 14-0-1 run, Dallas has a record of 1 win, 1 draw and 1 loss in the last three games. Dallas defeated the Avalanche 2-1 in a shootout on Wednesday.
In overtime, Brink bounced off the half wall and quickly passed the ball to Tarasenko in the right circle. His wrist shot hit the far corner and the Wild won Game 15, which went into overtime. Minnesota has played 28 overtime games, the most in the NHL.
The Wild did this without two of its top players.

Kirill Kaprizov, who leads the Wild with 80 points, missed his second straight game, as did the team’s top two-way center, Joel Eriksson Ek, who missed his third straight game. Both are day-to-day with lower-body injuries.
Robertson scored his 38th goal of the season during a first-period power play with a wrist goal from near the left point to give Dallas a 1-0 lead.
A pass from Quinn Hughes set up Brink for a breakaway, tying the game midway through the second quarter. Jared Spurgeon was honored with his second assist last weekend as he was honored in his 1,000th career game.
