WINNIPEG, Manitoba (AP) — Tanner Pearson broke a tie at 6:17 of the third period and the Winnipeg Jets beat the New Jersey Devils 4-3 on Sunday for their first back-to-back wins since mid-November.
Pearson beat Jake Allen in front of the net on a pass from Josh Morrissey.

The Jets beat Los Angeles on Friday night, snapping an 11-game losing streak. The last time they won two consecutive games was from November 15th to 18th. Winnipeg also won by a goal for the first time since November 15, breaking an NHL record of 13 consecutive losses.
Alex Iafallo, Jonathan Toews and Gabriel Vilardi also scored, while Morrissey and Cole Perfetti had two assists each. Connor Hellebuyck made 24 saves.
Winnipeg-born Cody Glass scored twice for New Jersey. Nico Hischier also scored and Allen stopped 18 shots. The Devils have lost four straight for the first time since early December.
With 1 minute and 10 seconds left in the first quarter, Iafallo’s shot missed and helped the team equalize the score. Hischier tied the game 37 seconds later with a rebound.

Glass gave the Devils the lead when he caught a pass from Luke Hughes with 1:05 left in the second quarter. Toews tied the game with 2 minutes and 36 seconds.
New Jersey defender Jonas Siegenthaler fired in a shot a minute later, but the Jets successfully challenged goalie interference as Paul Cotter bumped into Hellebuyck.
Glass gave New Jersey the lead with 8:08 left, and Vilardi scored on a shot with 2:03 left in the second quarter, his 18th of the season.
