Although not mandatory, Republicans often wear red at such events in keeping with their party’s traditional colors.
As a result, the president’s youngest son caused a stir in some media outlets.
The Daily Mail called it a “shocking fashion choice” that was also “fascinating”. The tabloid wrote that the youngest Trump eschewed “the traditional MAGA red worn by other members of his family, including the president.” “His senior advisers, including White House chief of staff Suzy Wiles” also wore red.

The Mirror described Barron’s tie as “surprising”, “astonishing” and “interesting”.
The Express noted that the “unconventional” garment “sparked discussion.”
“The choice surprised many viewers watching at home, who had expected Barron to wear red to show solidarity with his father and the Republican Party,” the newspaper reported, which shared some of the negative reactions to Barron’s attire on X.
But if young Trump is guilty of fashion faux pas, Vice President J.D. Vance is also guilty. He wears a light blue tie.

This isn’t the first time the 19-year-old college sophomore has taken a break from tradition, either.
He also opted for blue tie at one of his father’s inaugurations last year.
