Super Bowl 60 betting, odds: Five interesting prop bets that cashed

In Super Bowl 60, the Seattle Seahawks defeated the New England Patriots 29-13, easily tying a 4.5-point deficit. At halftime, the Seahawks led 9-0 and never trailed. Despite the threat at the end of the game, the total score of the game remained below 45.5.

Oddsmakers were rooting for a boring, low-scoring game, and that’s exactly what they got, as many of the same-game winning streak fell short and Jaxon Smith-Ngiba or Kenneth Walker III didn’t find the end zone.

There are thousands of ways to bet on the big game, but here are five fun prop bets to cash in on:

Kenneth Walker III wins Super Bowl LX MVP (+550)

Walker carried the load for the Seahawks, rushing for 135 yards on 27 carries and adding 20 yards receiving. While Walker III didn’t find the end zone on the night, starting wide receiver Jaxson Smith-Njigba, who had just four catches for 27 yards, was Seattle’s most consistent weapon.

Walker earned the award with the third-highest bets and total stakes at BetMGM, but he didn’t crack the top five due to short price.

Walker is the first running back to win Super Bowl MVP since Denver Broncos RB Terrell Davis returned for Super Bowl 32.

Kenneth Walker III has over 70.5 rushing yards

As the Super Bowl approaches, Walker’s rushing yardage is taking a hit from early sharp bettors and open bettors. BetMGM opened with odds of 78.5, with betting odds dropping to 70.5 at kick-off as 63% of bets and 77% of total bets were placed.

Walker surpassed that number by rushing for 135 yards in the second quarter and was named the game’s MVP.

Total punts exceeded 7.5

This was not a bet that received too much public attention, but it was a bet that was cashed out very early and went down a ridiculous path. 15 Punts in the game. Seahawks punter Michael Dickson also had some nice plays on his seven punts, three of which were downed inside the 20-yard line. Patriots punter Bryce Ballinger checked that number himself, punting eight of New England’s five three-and-outs (although Ballinger did not punt in the fourth quarter).

Mack Hollins has 25.5 more receiving yards

Amid intense action from some sportsbooks, the prop dropped significantly from 30.5 yards on the opening kickoff to 25.5 yards. Still, there was far more public money, as 90% of the bets and 95% of the total stakes were spent on this round.

Hollins ended up being New England’s leading receiver, easily surpassing that number with four catches for 78 yards.

Hunter Henry – 6.5 receiving yards vs. Anthony Edwards scoring

Cross-sport props are always fun in the Super Bowl, and Henry needed just 30 receiving yards to earn the prop as Edwards scored 23 points in Sunday afternoon’s 115-96 loss to the Los Angeles Clippers.

Henry had three catches for 31 yards and barely picked up the bonus.
