Suns beat the NBA-worst Kings 114-103 to sweep season series

SACRAMENTO, Calif. (AP) — Jalen Green scored 20 points, Grayson Allen added 18 and the Phoenix Suns beat the NBA-worst Sacramento Kings 114-103 on Tuesday night to sweep a four-game season series.

The Suns, ranked seventh in the Western Conference at 35-26, have won consecutive games and are getting star guard Devin Booker back after missing four games with a right hip injury. He scored 14 of his 17 points in the first half.

Colin Gillespie scored 17 points on 5-for-8 three-point shooting and had nine assists and six rebounds. Oso Iguodaro had 14 points and 14 rebounds. Phoenix was without Dillon Brooks due to a broken left hand.

The Suns went on a 14-0 run in the third quarter, turning a 63-62 deficit into a 76-63 lead. Royce O’Neal hit consecutive three-pointers to end the game.

Maxime Raynaud scored 22 points on 10-for-12 shooting and grabbed 10 rebounds in the first of Sacramento’s five-game homestand. The Kings dropped to 14-49. They have a record of 2 wins and 3 losses after experiencing the worst 16-game losing streak in team history.

Precious Achiuwa scored 18 points, DeMar DeRozan scored 17 points and Russell Westbrook scored 16 points. Kings forward Keegan Murray missed his third straight game with an ankle injury.

Phoenix led 59-55 at halftime. Sacramento’s Iguodaro scored 12 points and 10 rebounds at halftime, and Achiuwa scored 16 points.
