Potential fit with Pittsburgh
While Stefanski isn’t the typical defense-focused head coach the Steelers are used to, his offensive game plan is reminiscent of what Pittsburgh is trying to do offensively – run the ball.
Should the Steelers sign him?
While some fans may scoff at the idea of hiring anyone associated with the Cleveland Browns, Stefanski has been one of the few bright spots over the past few years. Stefanski is a two-time NFL Coach of the Year and has experience developing quarterbacks, and he can help Pittsburgh get through the tough times ahead. However, despite his offensive background, his overall game plan and play-calling quickly became stale in Cleveland. His inability to consistently make in-game and tactical adjustments made it difficult for the Steelers to hire him as their head coach.
