The Pittsburgh Steelers announced multiple roster changes on Wednesday, including placing starting tight end Darnell Washington on IR. Washington underwent successful surgery earlier this week after suffering a broken arm in last week’s loss to the Cleveland Browns.
Additionally, the Steelers signed tight end Jaheim Bell to the practice squad and offensive lineman Jack Driscoll to the active roster. The Steelers are preparing to take on the Baltimore Ravens this week with the AFC North title on the line.

With Washington out of the lineup, the Steelers are going to have to make some adjustments to all the jumbo running gear they like to use. That should give tight end Pat Freiermuth a better chance this week, and he should be just the punch the passing attack needs as DK Metcalf returns in the final game of his two-game suspension.
