Sony is celebrating the 30th anniversary of the PlayStation console, and to mark the occasion, the company has announced the PlayStation 30 Anniversary Collection, which includes the PS5 console, DualSense controller, PlayStation Portal, and more, with new designs that pay homage to the early days of PlayStation. As part of the series, the PS5 Pro and PS5 Digital Edition consoles come in dark and light gray colorways, similar to the first PlayStation console launched in 1994. The collection will be available in limited quantities and will be available for pre-order starting September 26th.

The PlayStation 30th Anniversary Collection includes several console bundles and three standalone purchase options, detailed below:

PlayStation 5 Pro Console – 30th Anniversary Limited Edition Bundle
The PS5 Pro bundle comes with the newly released PlayStation 5 Pro in a 30th anniversary design, featuring a gray color scheme and the original colorful PlayStation logo. The package also includes a limited-edition DualSense controller, DualSense Edge wireless controller, charging station and optical drive console cover. However, the optical drive is sold separately.
Other accessories include a stand, original PlayStation controller-style cable connector housing, four PlayStation-shaped cable ties, PlayStation stickers, limited-edition PlayStation poster (one of 30 possible designs) and PlayStation paper clips.
Sony will only sell 12,300 units of the PS5 5 Pro 30th Anniversary Limited Edition bundle, with the limited edition number engraved on the console.

PlayStation 5 Digital Edition – 30th Anniversary Limited Edition Bundle
The second bundle comes with a PS5 Slim Digital Edition with a new design, along with a matching limited-edition DualSense wireless controller and a console cover for the optical drive. This bundle also includes all the other limited-edition accessories in the PS5 Pro bundle.
In addition to the two console bundles, players can purchase the 30th Anniversary Limited Edition PlayStation Portal Remote, DualSense Edge Wireless Controller, and standard DualSense Controller individually – all of which come in a retro gray design.

PlayStation 30th Anniversary Series release date, pre-order details
The PlayStation 30th Anniversary Collection will be released on November 21st. The limited-edition PS5 Pro bundle, PlayStation Portal, DualSense Edge Controller, and DualSense Controller will be available for pre-order on September 26 in regions where direct.playstation.com is available (US, UK, France, Germany, Belgium, Netherlands, Luxembourg, Spain, Portugal, Italy, and Austria). In areas where PlayStation Direct is not available, these items can be pre-ordered from participating retailers starting the same day.
However, the limited-edition PS5 Digital Edition bundle will be available for pre-order on October 10 at participating retailers. Sony has yet to reveal pricing for the PlayStation 30th Anniversary Series.
