(WBRE/Wyoming) — Snowfall amounts of up to 10 inches are possible in parts of the region this weekend.
Temperatures will remain consistent Friday night with a chance of light rain or snow.
Temperatures Saturday will be in the mid-40s and mostly cloudy.
A coastal storm will move northeastward on Saturday before moving into the area on Sunday.
Coastal storms will bring light snow Sunday, but it will continue Sunday night into Monday morning.
Temperatures will be in the mid-30s through Sunday.
A winter storm watch has been activated for Monroe, Carbon and Schuylkill counties.
The heaviest snowfall will be along the coast, but 6 to 10 inches of snow could fall in higher elevations, 3 to 6 inches in valley cities, and 1 to 3 inches in north-central Pennsylvania.
Temperatures will drop further into the mid-30s on Monday and will be about the same on Tuesday, but temperatures will rise back up later in the week.
