Seven SPFL games postponed amid weather warnings

Five other SPFL games on Saturday have been postponed, including Greenock Morton’s clash with Dunfermline Athletic and Queen’s Park’s clash with St Johnstone in the Championship.

Freezing pitches resulted in the cancellation of two Division II games.

Alloa Athletic’s games against Montrose (frozen ground) and Peterhead’s against Hamilton College (soaked ground) in League 1 will be cancelled, while in League 2 a frozen ground means Dumbarton vs Clyde and East Kilbride vs Spartans will also be rescheduled.

Annan Athletic’s home match against Elgin City in League Two has been called off after a pitch inspection on Friday revealed another frozen surface.

People across Scotland are being warned to prepare for more snow and ice this weekend.

Four Premier League games (two in the Championship and three in League 1 and League 2) are scheduled to be played at 15:00 GMT.
