This has been a win for many years.

The U.S. women’s hockey team battled to win against arch-rivals Canada to claim the 2026 Olympic gold medal. The U.S. trailed for most of the game, but Hilary Knight’s record-breaking goal tied the score at 1-1 with just over two minutes remaining.

The game went into overtime and ended with an incredible goal.

Megan Keller sped down the left side of the ice, hit a Canadian defender in the leg with a move through the middle and sent a shot past the goalie.

The goal earned the U.S. women’s hockey team its first gold medal since 2018.
