Gian Piero Gasperini is expected to have Paulo Dybala back under his charge for Roma’s Serie A clash with Napoli at the weekend, with reports on Wednesday that there is also positive news about the January signing of Robinho Vaz.

Dybala has missed Roma’s last two Serie A games due to a knee problem, but he returned to training on Wednesday and is now expected to compete for a place in the team, possibly as a starter, against Napoli at the Maradona Stadium on Sunday night.

Robinho Vaz was also partly involved in Wednesday’s training session in Trigoria. The 18-year-old joined Roma for €25 million during the January transfer window but has spent the last week nursing a soleus muscle injury after making three substitute appearances in his Roma career.

Matias Sule and Mario Hermoso received personalized training on Wednesday, Corriere dello Sport reported. The former has been battling some discomfort around his pubic bone, while the Spaniard has been dealing with a minor knock injury to his foot.
Manu Kone, Stephan El Shaarawy, Evan Ferguson and Artem Dovbyk continued to work individually on Wednesday.
