WAUSAU, Wis. (WFRV) – As Wisconsin’s historic snowstorm ends, many residents across Wisconsin are facing the daunting task of shoveling out their cars.
Wisconsin public service crews battle snowstorm to restore power to more than 11,000 customers
Cleanup can be one of the most difficult parts of a snowstorm, and as outdoor parking lots begin clearing, people living in Wausau apartment complexes say they can finally see their cars again for the first time in days.
Trying to get out. Been stuck for two days and can’t get my car out so… love Wisconsin. My car was buried which is crazy. Wish I was in Florida.
Teresa Huebner, Wausau resident
Huebner told Local 5 she had not been at work for the past few days but was determined to have the car dug out Monday afternoon.
The lot at Huebner’s apartment complex is also finally being plowed, but it won’t be completely cleared until all the buildup around and on top of the cars is dealt with.
