Report: Ty Simpson drawing top-dollar NIL offers to transfer after NFL Draft declaration

“No decision has been made regarding Ty declaring for the draft at this time and he is still evaluating everything with his family and close advisors,” Weber told Knuckles.

Simpson has long been considered a potential first-round lock and is currently projected to be the third quarterback selected, according to ESPN draft experts Mel Kiper Jr.trailing only Indiana Fernando Mendoza and oregon’s Dante Mooreneither has yet announced their candidacy.

Despite exiting the national championship game with a broken rib early in the second half, Simpson threw for 3,567 yards, 28 touchdowns and just five interceptions in his first year as Alabama’s QB, capping off his redshirt junior season in Tuscaloosa. That included helping the Crimson Tide to an 11-4 record and a first-round win over Oklahoma exist 2025 College Football Playoffs.
