The Patriots have agreed to a three-year, $39 million contract with free agent linebacker Draymont Jones, according to NFL insider Jordan Schultz. This move fills one of the team’s biggest needs on the edge.

Jones, a former third-round pick, spent last season with the Baltimore Ravens and Tennessee Titans, where he had seven sacks, 43 tackles, two fumble catches and one pass defensed during his time with both teams. He joins the Patriots at the perfect time, with Klavon Chaisson testing free agency and Harold Landry III on the way.
