The recently released Carolina Panthers linebacker may be looking for revenge.
Defensive lineman A’Shawn Robinson will join the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, according to NFL Network insider Ian Rapoport. Robinson is expected to sign a one-year, $10 million fully guaranteed contract with Carolina’s NFC South rival, according to Rapoport.

The Panthers officially parted ways with the 10-year veteran on Tuesday, a move that was expected. Robinson’s release saves the front office $10.5 million in salary cap space and gives them some much-needed room after reaching agreements with outside linebacker Jaylan Phillips and inside linebacker Devin Lloyd.
Robinson has started in 33 of the 34 games he has played with the Panthers over the past two seasons. He totaled 145 tackles, 8.0 sacks, 55 pressures, 65 interceptions, one forced fumble, one fumble recovery and four passes defended.
