RB Leipzig sporting director Marcel Schaefer believes Konrad Harder was awarded a clear penalty in Sunday’s 2-2 draw with Wolfsburg.
Schaefer said this was just the latest in a series of decisions that he believed were detrimental to Die Roten Bullen in recent weeks.

“There have been several decisions in recent weeks that didn’t go our way and today was no exception. Konrad Harder was knocked down while rushing out of the box. In my opinion, it was 100% a penalty,” Marcel Schaefer said.
RB Leipzig head coach Ol Werner echoed the same sentiment, noting that the club had received multiple calls from referees in recent weeks acknowledging their mistakes.
“At the moment it seems like we’re getting calls from referees almost every week apologizing for mistakes that were made. They don’t need to apologize because it wasn’t intentional. But, I have a feeling we might get another call tomorrow,” Werner said.
