In his third year in the NFL, the former fifth-round draft pick has evolved into one of the top receivers in football. With his strength, blocking ability and reliable hands, the Rams offense uses him as an engine in nearly every personnel grouping and formation.
Nacua is having one of the best weeks of his career against the Arizona Cardinals, earning the highest single-game grade ever given to a wide receiver by Pro Football Focus. He also had his first career multi-touchdown game, continuing to rack up the honors ahead of a possible payday this summer.
Looking at his contemporaries, Nacua’s deal is expected to reach $34 million, even breaking Ja’Marr Chase’s previous high of $40.2 million. At just 24 years old, Nacua looks set to be one of the faces of the next decade for the Rams, who hope to clinch a playoff spot with a home win against the Detroit Lions today.
