Purdue has won three games in the last three days. They took down Northwestern, Nebraska and UCLA. Michigan State has won two games in the past two days. They took down Ohio State and Wisconsin. Now, the two meet in the Big Ten Tournament championship game. Of course, Michigan State lost just one game during the Big Ten season. Purdue lost six times. The two teams met once during the regular season at Mackey Arena, with Purdue losing 91-80. For about six minutes, Purdue collapsed and Michigan took over. For the remaining 34 minutes, the game was almost in full swing. A six-minute loss is a big one for such a deep team. Michigan State didn’t have their best game yesterday against Wisconsin, but when push came to shove, Lundenburg hit the game-winning shot to beat the Badgers. Michigan State is filled with lethal players all over the court and will be tough to beat. If you ever get a chance to go to Chicago, this team is going to need all the fan support they can get.
