Kylian Mbappe has been embroiled in legal proceedings with his former club Paris Saint-Germain over the past 12 months. The 27-year-old claimed he was owed bonuses and the Preud’homme court ruled in favor of the Real Madrid forward in December.
Mbappe will receive €61 million in compensation, but PSG reserves the right to appeal the decision. However, they have chosen not to do so, according to Marca. As a result, he will soon be compensated, with the Ligue 1 side confirming that “for reasons of liability and in order to bring a complete end to a process that has lasted too long, the club has decided not to extend this lawsuit”.

Details of money owed to Mbappe
Paris Saint-Germain will pay Mbappe 60.9 million euros. The breakdown of this amount is as follows: the last signing bonus of €36.6 million; wages for April, May and June 2024 of €17.25 million; holiday pay of €1.725 billion; ethics bonuses of April, May and June 2024 of €1.5 million and, finally, paid holidays totaling €150,000 for the ethics bonus reminders of April, May and June 2024.
Mbappe can now look forward to the money he is owed coming in, but more importantly, he can put the matter behind him. He has been involved in the matter for some time, but the fact that it is over means he no longer has to deal with PSG.
As for matters on the field, Mbappe hopes to return to form as soon as possible. He struggled in the weekend’s loss to Osasuna but will have a chance to bounce back on Wednesday night when Real host Benfica in the second leg of their Champions League play-off tie at the Santiago Bernabeu.
