Sony has announced the monthly list of games coming to PlayStation Plus in July. Free games coming to PS Plus next month include looter shooter Borderlands 3, sports simulation game NHL 24 and multiplayer party game Among Us. Starting July 2, these three games will be available to PS Plus members at the Essential, Extra, and Deluxe/Premium levels.
PS Plus subscribers can get free access to the July games of the month announced on the PlayStation Blog on Wednesday. The three free games will be available on the service until August 6. During this period, players can add games to their library and continue playing them after August 6 with an active PS Plus subscription. Additionally, July’s PS Plus offerings include the Genshin Impact in-game bonus bundle, which will be released on July 16.
PS Plus monthly games for June, including SpongeBob SquarePants: Space Shock, AEW Fight Forever, and Streets of Rage 4, are still available on the service. These games can be added to the library until July 1st. Here is the PS Plus monthly game lineup for July:
Borderlands 3
Sci-fi looter shooter Borderlands 3 tops next month’s PS Plus lineup. Players can choose one of the four available classes, play single-player or four-player co-op, and go on chaotic missions, accept bounties, and find new guns and gear. As players advance through the story and participate in side missions, they can level up their characters and unlock new skills and abilities. You play as one of four Vault Hunters recruited to take down a demented cult. Borderlands 3 can also be played in split-screen co-op mode. The game will be released on PS4 and PS5.
National Hockey League 24
PS Plus added EA Sports FC 24 in May. NHL 24 will join the service next month. This hockey sim brings new gameplay features and overhauls existing systems to deliver a realistic hockey experience. NHL 24 brings a new fully controlled skill action system, allowing players to perform complex tricks with just a tap. The game also features a new passing and body-checking system, bringing more realism to real-time gameplay. It will be available on PS4 and PS5.
among us
The last title of the month is Among Us. The online multiplayer social deduction game, which has surged in popularity during the COVID-19 pandemic, will be coming to PS Plus in July. In this party game, players rush to complete missions and find an impostor lurking on their missions, sabotaging ships and secretly stabbing other crew members. Among Us will be released on PS4 and PS5.
Earlier this month, Sony revealed sales of games added to the PS Plus catalog in June, which will be available to PS Plus Extra and Deluxe/Premium tier subscribers. These include “Monster Hunter: Rise”, “FM 2024”, “Crusader Kings III”, etc.
