Possible rain showers, wintry conditions on way to El Paso

EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) – Happy Saturday, Borderland! Hope you enjoy the weekend and the beautiful, comfortable weather. Above-average temperatures and dry air will continue through the work week, with a shift on Wednesday.

The low temperature will drop to around 45 degrees on Saturday, with partly cloudy skies. Wind speed is approximately 3-5 mph.

Sunday will have similar breezes and temperatures to Saturday; however, cloud cover will increase with partly clear skies throughout much of the day. Overnight lows will be in the mid-40s, with mostly cloudy skies.

Monday and Tuesday will be mostly sunny with highs in the upper 60s to lower 70s. The wind will continue to blow towards the lighter end. Overnight lows will be in the 40s.

Wednesday will be cooler, with temperatures in the mid-60s and partly cloudy skies. Showers may develop towards noon. Winds will be 5-15 mph from the southwest, with gusts around 20 mph. Showers may continue into the evening, with partly cloudy skies and highs in the mid-40s.

Temperatures will start to drop starting Thursday. Temperatures on Friday will be close to average around 57 degrees, with mostly sunny skies.

Over the weekend, highs will be in the mid-50s with lows closer and possibly freezing.
