The 2026 consensus begins Tuesday in Miami. We held a series of policy meetings – some of which this newsletter previewed a few weeks ago. Here is a complete list of conferences you should attend. Below is the full list of policy meetings taking place this week.

  • 10:00 AM ET: We have a policy summit coming up. The goal: eight hours of informed discussion on key issues, starting with how decentralized finance should be regulated, especially in light of ongoing hacks.
  • 10:30 AM ET: Former IRS officials Raj Mukherjee and Seth Wilks will discuss 1099-DA and how the IRS’s approach to digital assets may evolve. This meeting is part of a policy summit.
  • 10:55 AM ET: Larry Wade, head of crypto compliance at PayPal, and Ji Hun Kim, CEO of the Crypto Innovation Council, will discuss how fintech companies view regulation of digital assets. This meeting is part of a policy summit.
  • 11:40 a.m. ET: Senator Ashley Moody and Digital Chamber CEO Cody Carbone will discuss the industry’s relationship with DC
  • 11:40 AM ET: Executives from federally regulated banks will discuss how a growing number of cryptocurrency companies are seeking banking charters and what that means for the banking and cryptocurrency industries. This meeting is part of a policy summit.
  • 12:50 PM ET: World Liberty Financial co-founders Donald Trump, Jr. and Zach Witkoff will take the stage.
  • 12:55 PM ET: Breadcrumbs analyst James Delmore will break down how much money cryptocurrency companies are investing in the 2026 election and how they are using it. This meeting is part of a policy summit.
  • 1:00 PM ET: Stand With Crypto’s Mason Lynaugh, Fellowship PAC’s Jesse Spiro, and Sternhell Group’s Alex Sternhell will discuss how the crypto industry can participate in the midterm elections. This meeting is part of a policy summit.
  • 1:30 PM ET: Gavin Zavatone of the DeFi Education Fund and Lindsay Fraser of the Blockchain Association will shed light on what may happen with crypto legislation and rulemaking in 2027, based on different possibilities this November. This meeting is part of a policy summit.
  • 1:55 PM ET: Taylor Lindman, chief counsel of the SEC’s Cryptocurrency Task Force, will discuss his role and what he does with the regulator. This meeting is part of a policy summit.
  • 2:00 PM ET: Tether’s Bo Hines and Bridge’s Lindsey Einhaus will discuss the evolution of stablecoin regulations.
  • 2:10 PM ET: Former CFTC Acting Chair and current Moonpay CFO Caroline Pham, Aleo Policy Director Yaya Fanusie, and Binance Global Policy Director Steven McWhirter will discuss the regulator’s recent recommendations surrounding stablecoin rules, and what those recommendations may ultimately look like. This meeting is part of a policy summit.
  • 2:40 PM ET: Coinbase Vice President Kara Calvert will talk about White House negotiations that could ultimately lead to an agreement on stablecoin yields in the Clarification Act. This meeting is part of a policy summit.
  • 2:55 PM ET: Speaking of the CLARITY Act, is it really happening? Experts following the trail will give their opinions. This meeting is part of a policy summit.
  • 3:30 PM ET: Everyone is talking about tokenization, including how the rules for this area of ​​the financial services industry might change. This meeting is part of a policy summit.
  • 4:00 PM ET: We’ve spent a lot of ink talking about federal regulatory efforts, but there are also 50 states in the U.S. that have their own jurisdictions and approaches. Representatives working with these state or local governments will discuss these approaches. This meeting is part of a policy summit.
  • 4:30 PM ET: Last but not least: prediction markets. Are prediction market contracts federally regulated swaps? Or are they gambling products disguised as financial derivatives? The issues are being heard in courts across the country and will likely end up before the U.S. Supreme Court before the dust settles. A crack team of lawyers will wrap up the policy summit by previewing what those arguments might look like.
